I conceived and directed the Luminor Destro campaign of Panerai, blending craftsmanship and technology to tell the story of one of Panerai’s most distinctive creations. The project combines traditional oil-paint animation with advanced 3D rendering, creating a dialogue between art and innovation. I oversaw every creative phase — from concept to final compositing — ensuring a unique visual language that reflects Panerai’s bold and artistic identity.

Challenge
The challenge was to merge two very different visual worlds: traditional oil-painting animation created by an external artist, and a fully 3D-rendered watch. The handcrafted textures and organic rhythm of the painted frames made integration with the digital model particularly complex, requiring precise synchronization of lighting, motion, and tone.
Solution
I led the entire creative direction and concept development, defining the narrative and visual flow. Working closely with the artist and the 3D team, we developed a seamless compositing pipeline to harmonize brushstrokes, light, and reflections between the oil-paint animation and the digital watch. The result is a poetic and tactile visual journey that highlights Panerai’s artistry and innovation.
