Browsing this portfolio
The site is hosted by Vercel. Delivering pages and protecting the service involves technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. The purpose is to deliver the portfolio, diagnose faults and prevent abuse, based on the legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Technical records are retained only as required for service operation, security, incident investigation and applicable legal obligations, according to the hosting service’s retention rules.
This portfolio does not install audience analytics, advertising pixels or social media widgets. Its fonts, photographs and preview videos are served with the site. There are no visitor accounts or contact forms.
Contacting me
Email links open your chosen email application. If you send a message, I receive your address, name if provided, and anything you include. I use these details to answer your request and, where relevant, discuss or carry out a project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b)); for other correspondence it is the legitimate interest in responding (Article 6(1)(f)). Gmail provides the email service.
Providing information is voluntary; without a reply address I cannot respond. Correspondence is kept for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and related follow-up. Records relating to an engagement may be retained for applicable accounting obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
Optional YouTube videos
Some full films use YouTube, provided in the EEA by Google Ireland Limited. They are blocked until you accept YouTube in the privacy popup. Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) is optional. Acceptance enables the player when you press Play; it does not start all films or affect local previews.
Once loaded, YouTube receives information including your IP address, browser and device information, the page’s origin and playback interactions. It may use cookies and similar storage for playback, security, measurement and advertising. Privacy-enhanced embedding reduces some uses of viewing information but does not make the player anonymous. Google explains its purposes, retention and controls in its privacy policy and cookie information.
You can refuse or withdraw consent using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops embedded YouTube players on this site and prevents new ones loading. It does not affect processing already carried out lawfully and cannot delete cookies stored by Google on its own domains. Those can be managed through your browser or Google’s controls. The cookie policy explains how your choice is stored.
Providers and international transfers
Hosting and email providers process data needed to provide their services. If you enable YouTube, Google also processes information under its own policy. Providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Their published terms describe applicable safeguards, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses: Vercel’s data processing terms, Vercel’s privacy notice and Google’s transfer frameworks. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time. Contact the address above to make a request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) or your local supervisory authority. This portfolio does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
